What is Trackback?
A Trackback (TB) is a form of acknowledgment.
This acknowledgment is sent via a network signal(ping) from the originating site to the receiving site. It enables authors to keep track of who is linking and referring to their articles.

How to send a Trackback
First, enter the trackback's URL.

The trackbacks will be displayed on your blog after you post the entry. It is better to copy and paste the URLs that you want to trackback to prevent any typing errors.
*Trackback URL is not the same as your entry URL.
*Only 5 trackbacks for regular blogs and 3 trackbacks for adult topic blogs are allowed to be entered each time.
If you want to send more than that (5 for regular blogs, 3 for adult topic blogs), please send them separately.
NOTE: If you send too many trackbacks, you may be conceived as a spammer and may be added to the blacklist.

If you want to refer to an entry from another FC2 user, you can click on the link below the absolute URL (Since you can alter the template, the words might show differently). Once you click the link, it will automatically add the trackback for you.

Trackback and Spam
The Trackback function is a convenient function, but be cautious of how you use it. If you use it the wrong way, people may think you are a spammer and add you to their blacklist.
Please respect others and use this function responsibly. Do not use this function as an advertisement to attract other users to your blog, you may be blacklisted by other FC2 users.

Comment
When a visitor leaves a comment for you (depending on your settings), you will receive a notification.
Go to [Comments] from the menu list to approve or deny the comment.
If you are leaving a comment to a user, it is better to enter a password. That way you can edit or delete the comment in the future.

Setting passwords for blogs and entries
Set a password for blog
If you don't want everyone to see your blog, you can create a password for your blog. This way only people with your password can view your blog.
Here is how to create a password for your blog:
1. Go to [Settings].
2. Click on [Blog Settings].
3. Click on [Access Settings].
4. Change the privacy settings to [Private].
5. Make sure you enter a password in the [Set a blog password] field.
*Your blog will not be set as password required if you don't complete steps 4 and 5.
*The message box is optional.
6. Click on [Update] to save changes.
Set a password for your entries
If you just want certain entries to be password protected, you can set a password for those entries.
Here is how:
Steps 1-4 are the same as the blog settings(shown above).
5. Enter a password in the [Set an entry password] field.
6. Click on [Update] to save changes.
*Make sure you also check [Limited] under post type when you are writing a new entry.

Access Counter
With the FC2 Access Counter, you can track how many people have visited your blog, or even see who is on your blog in real time! Here is a brief explanation on how to add the FC2 Access Counter.
Add the FC2 Access Counter
If you do not have the FC2 Access Counter yet, you will need to agree to the terms and conditions policies. Click on [Access Counter] under the [Tool Box] section of your User Management page and read through the terms and conditions. If you agree, click [Yes], you now have access to FC2 Access Counter.
You can now choose from a wide variety of access counters. There are two different types of counters that are offered, one is a regular access counter, which counts the grand total of visits you get to your blog page. The second type of access counter is the real time counter, which counts the number of visitors currently on your blog page. We will explain more about the two counters in our next section.

Once you have agreed to the terms of use, you can now add the FC2 Access Counter service to your blog. Log-in to FC2 Access Counter.

After you have signed in, you will be able to see your FC2 Access Counter User Management Page. You will see a menu on the left side of the screen, and you should be on the [Current Counter] section.

Your default access counters are provided by FC2. You will see two counters: Access Counter and Online Counter. [Access Counter] functions as a regular access counter(counting the grand total of people visiting your page), and [Online Counter] counts the number of people who are visiting your page in real time.
