Edit Tools

When you are writing an entry, you may notice a row of small icons right above the editing field. These icons are referred to as [Tools].

Move over the icons to see an explanation of how each tool functions. By using those tools, you can change font sizes, colors, and types. You can also insert various icons to your blog. It's easy and convenient!
*Note: If you are using a mobile phone, you cannot type "<"and ">". However, you can click on the [<] and [>] icons that are provided to you in the tools list.

WYSIWYG is an acronym for What You See Is What You Get, used in computing to describe a system in which content displayed during editing appears very similar to the final result. This way you can see how things will look before you publish your entry.

1. Using WYSIWYG
When using WYSIWYG, things may display a little slower. We recommend you to use the following browsers:
Windows: Internet Explorer, Sleipnir, Firefox
Mac OSX: Firefox

2. Real Time Preview
When you are writing a new entry, you will see an empty field that is either above or below your editing area. This field is called [Real Time Preview], and you will not be able to edit the text from this area, as it is just for previewing purposes.

The main difference between [Preview] and [Real Time Preview] is that real time preview allows you see your editing results right away. For example, when you insert icons or images, you cannot see the actual icons or images, just the HTML code. However, with real time preview, you can see your icons and images instantly, now you can see how it will look on your blog in real time.

3. Real Time Preview Settings
If you don't want to use the real time preview, you can close it by clicking on [Close].However, it will reappear again later once you save your entry. If you don't wish to have it reappear, you can go to [Settings][Post Settings] under [Real Time Preview] to disable it. You can also change the position to "above" or "below" in the editing area.
