Share template guidelines
The share template must be reviewed by one of FC2 staff members when users submit/apply a template.
Please see below on how to apply/submit a share template and review process.
Before submitting a template, please be sure you created, not the work of somebody else. According to FC2 blog's User Conduct in Terms of Use, Copyright of original template design belongs to the person who designed it.
The judging criteria for shared template are as follows:
Note: It is a general guideline, there might be difference in the way they are applied.
*Cannot contain any access analysis and counter tags.
Your template must not contain any tags for your own access analysis, counter, Google site map certification, and blog parts.
- FC2 Blog (Applicant's blog)
- Other sites apart from FC2 blog (Applicant's own website)
- Site materials sources for the template
- Sites/Links that have no relevance to FC2 blog and/or commercial sites for advertising purpose.
- Entries that have no content but only advertisements (banner, AdSense, etc.)
- Purely for the purpose of SEO (the site's purpose being to increase the number of incoming links)
Applicants who wish to link to your site must clearly state [design by ○○ ] or [template created by ○○ ]. The purpose is for other users to know who design it and easy to link to the designer's site.
Backlinks and advertising variable <%ad> links have to be distinguished clearly and seperated from [design by ○○ ] or [template created by ○○ ].

Cannot Use any Images From FC2 Templates
If your template contains images from FC2 templates, your template will not be approved. However, mobile template can employ decorated icon images from the individual server.
Please refrain from employing images that are not under FC2 blog control.
Images Employed in the Template Have to be Also Employed in Your Blog
Image format supports jpg/gif/png in the template. Please use images from the blog which you use to submit your template. Therefore, even if a designer possesses many blogs, he/she will not be able to use its own directory for images and submit for share template.
In addition, all other source materials (with approval for using) and linked images, also have to be uploaded to the blog in order to use them.
If you use the contributed script directly as it is, the image which script originally includes is exceptionally allowed. For example, when you make a tree-like list, images can be part of the branch of the tree.
*About displaying ad (Currently only available in Japanese language).
For mobile phone, please use <%mob_ad> for mobile ad.
